Postmaterialism

Postmaterialism is an idea about what people care about. People who are postmaterialists care about things like freedom, equality, and improving the environment. They don't care as much about things like money, owning a lot of things, or having a job with a high salary. Postmaterialists believe that things like freedom and taking care of the environment are more important than money or having lots of stuff.
