ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Pratītyasamutpāda

Pratītyasamutpāda is an idea in Buddhism which means that everything is interconnected and everything is always changing. This means that nothing in life stays the same. Everything is like a circle; things change and come back around again. For example, when it rains the water will eventually dry up and the sun will come out again. Nothing is permanent. The same goes for our feelings, thoughts, and experiences. They come and go like the changing weather.
