ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Principle of good enough

Imagine you have to do something like baking a cake. You need to get all the ingredients in the right amounts and mix them together properly. But sometimes, you can't get everything just right - maybe you're missing an ingredient or you're not measuring things perfectly.

That's where the principle of good enough comes in. It means that you don't have to be perfect all the time. Sometimes, if you do something pretty well, that's good enough. For example, if you bake the cake and it tastes pretty good, even if it's not perfect, that's good enough!

This principle can be applied to many things in life. You don't have to do everything perfectly all the time - sometimes, it's okay to just do your best and be satisfied with that. Of course, there are times when you do need to strive for perfection, like in certain jobs or situations. But for many things, good enough is just fine!
