Progressive Christianity

Progressive Christianity is a way of following Jesus and living out his teachings, but it goes beyond traditional Christian beliefs and practices. Instead, Progressive Christians focus on understanding and living in today’s world and responding to its needs in ways that are relevant, compassionate and loving. Progressive Christians believe that Jesus showed us how to live in harmony with each other and the world we live in. They also believe that it is important to be open minded and to learn from different cultures, religions and ways of life. Progressive Christians try to look for ways to bridge divides between people, respect diversity, and care for each other and the planet.
