Psychoanalytic sociology is the study of how our minds affect the way we think and act in society. It looks at how our thoughts, feelings, and experiences shape our actions and reactions in social situations. For example, it might look at how childhood experiences shape how we handle break-ups, or how our parents' behavior influences how we raise our own children. Psychoanalytic sociology looks at how our mental processes shape how we interact with others.
