Public welfare

Alright kiddo, let me tell you about public welfare! Public welfare is when the government helps people who are struggling to make ends meet. You know when mom and dad give you allowance every week so you can buy your favorite candy or toy? Well, the government does something similar by giving money to people who need it to pay for their basic needs like food, housing, and healthcare.

There are different types of public welfare programs that help different groups of people. For example, there are programs that help families with low income make sure their children have enough to eat, programs that help people with disabilities get the care they need to live independently, and programs that help seniors pay for their health care.

But where does the money for public welfare come from, you ask? Well, you know how every time you go to the store with mom and dad they have to pay for the things they buy? The government gets money in a similar way. They get money from taxes that we pay when we buy things or earn money at our jobs. Some of that money goes into programs that help people who are struggling.

Public welfare is important because some people are not as fortunate as others and need a little extra help to make sure they have the things they need to live comfortably. It's like a big family helping each other out when someone is in need.
