Qadi

A qadi is a special judge who is chosen in some Muslim cultures. They are responsible for making sure that the laws of Islam are followed when people have disputes or legal issues. They listen to both sides of the story, examine any evidence or witnesses, and make a decision based on what they think is the right thing to do according to Islam. They are a bit like a referee in a sports game, who makes sure everyone follows the rules and settles any disputes fairly.
