Qualitative data

Qualitative data is information that is collected by asking questions and observing people. This can be done through interviews or surveys. Qualitative data is different from quantitative data because it is non-numeric, so it can’t be easily measured or counted. An example of qualitative data would be the answer to a survey question asking how a person felt about a particular product. The answers to this question could be angry, satisfied, or excited, which are all qualitative responses.
