Queen bee syndrome

Queen bee syndrome is a way of describing what happens when the women in a group, like at a job or in a club, help other women to succeed but don't help other men. They are like a queen bee, the leader of the group, and don't want other men to do as well as the women. It's like they don't want other people to get ahead, even if those other people are their friends or co-workers.
