ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Reckless driving

Reckless driving is when someone drives their car in a really dangerous way. Imagine you are playing with your toy car and you drive it really fast and crash it into things on purpose, even though you know it’s not safe. When people do this in real life with real cars on the road, it's called reckless driving.

It means someone is not driving their car in a safe way, and they could cause a serious accident or hurt people. They might be driving too fast, swerving or weaving between lanes, not paying attention to the road, or ignoring traffic signals. It's like they're not using their brain to make safe decisions on the road.

Driving is important but we need to be careful and drive in a safe way to protect ourselves and others. If someone is driving recklessly, they could get in big trouble with the law.
