ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Resource depletion

Resource depletion means that natural resources, like trees, water and minerals, are running out. When these resources run out, they can't be replaced and will no longer be available. This can happen if people use the resources too quickly, like cutting down too many trees, using too much water, or taking too many minerals (like coal or oil) from the ground. Without these important resources, our lives would be much harder.
