ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Romans 1

Romans 1 is a part of the Bible that was written a long time ago by a man named Paul. It talks about some important things that people should believe and do to be good people according to God.

In the first part of Romans 1, Paul talks about how God has shown people that he is real and powerful through many things in the world around us, like the sun and the stars and the plants and animals. Paul says that even though people can see all these amazing things, some people still choose not to believe in God.

Then Paul talks about how some people do bad things on purpose, like lying, stealing, and being mean to others. He says this is not what God wants us to do, and that people who do these things will be punished for it.

Paul also talks about how some people like to do things that are not good for them, like being greedy, selfish, or always wanting to have fun instead of doing what they should be doing. He says these things can also lead to bad consequences.

Overall, Romans 1 is a reminder to people that they should believe in and follow God, try to be good and kind to others, and avoid doing things that are bad for them or others.
