ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Scientific management

Scientific management is a way to make things run better and faster by making sure that everyone does their jobs in the same way. It looks at how people do their jobs and then tries to find ways to improve the process. For example, if someone runs a factory, they might look at how the workers are doing their job, and then figure out ways to make it faster and easier for them to do. This helps things run more smoothly and can save the factory money by making the job faster.
