Slave raiding

Slave raiding was a horrible practice carried out by some people in the past. It involved going to another village or country and attacking and stealing people away from their homes. The people who were stolen were called slaves, and the people who had stolen them were called the raiders. The slaves were then taken away and had to do whatever job their new owners wanted. They were not paid, and they could not go home.
