Targeted killing

Targeted killing is when a country or group tries to kill a certain person that they have identified as a threat. It is usually done by sending a small, specially trained team to a specific location to find and kill the person. The goal is to prevent that particular person from doing harm or committing a specific crime. It is different from traditional warfare because it is focused on one individual.
