Timestamp

A timestamp is a way of keeping track of time. It is a sort of label or "stamp" that notes when something happens. For example, when you send an email, the email will have a timestamp saying when the email was sent. This helps other people know how recent the email is. Timestamps can also be used to remember when something happened in the past.
