Tipi

A tipi is a type of house that was traditionally used by some Native American tribes. It is made out of long wooden poles that are placed in a circle and tied together at the top to form a cone shape. The poles are then covered with animal skins or canvas to make a waterproof shelter.

When you go inside a tipi, it is like a big room with a round floor. The walls are made of the animal skins or canvas, and there is usually a small hole at the top of the tipi where smoke from the fire can escape.

Tipis were used by Native American tribes who were often on the move, so they needed a type of house that was easy to set up and take down. They would pack up their tipis and move to a new location when they needed to find food or water.

Today, some people still use tipis for camping or as a way to connect with Native American culture. They can be a fun and unique way to spend time outdoors and learn about different types of homes.
