Torque wrench

A torque wrench is a tool that helps you tighten nuts and bolts to a specific tightness. Think of it as a magical tool that knows exactly when to stop tightening.

Have you ever played with a toy wrench or screwdriver? When you turn them, they keep turning until you stop them. But for real nuts and bolts, you need to be careful so that you don't overtighten them or leave them too loose.

A torque wrench has a special gauge on it that tells you how much force you are putting on the nut or bolt. You get to set the gauge to the right amount of force that your nut or bolt needs to be tightened to. When you are tightening the nut, the wrench will click or twist to let you know when you have put enough force on it.

This is really important because if you don't tighten nuts and bolts to the right amount, they can break or become loose which can be really dangerous!

So, remember, a torque wrench is like a magical tool that helps you tighten nuts and bolts to the perfect tightness.
