Trap street

Okay kiddo, have you ever looked at a map and seen streets that have weird names or seem to go nowhere? Those are called trap streets. They are put on maps on purpose to make sure no one is copying or stealing the map.

It’s like making a wig with fake hairs so no one can copy it. Mapmakers put trap streets in to protect their work just like a wig maker would put fake hairs in their work to protect it!
