Ultimate fate of the universe

The universe is constantly changing and growing. Scientists think that the universe will eventually stop expanding and start getting smaller and smaller over time. Eventually, the universe will become so small that it will all be squished together into one very small, hot, and dense place. This is what scientists call the "Big Crunch." They think that this will happen in the far future and the universe will be gone forever.
