Unit of frequency

A unit of frequency is a way we measure how fast something is happening over time. Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy car and you're making it move back and forth. One swing back and forth counts as one cycle. The number of cycles your toy car can make in one second is what we call its frequency.

Just like there are different sized toys, there are also different frequencies. Some toys might move very fast and make lots of cycles in one second, while others might move more slowly and make fewer cycles in the same amount of time. We use units like Hertz (Hz) to measure frequency.

So, if your toy car is moving back and forth 10 times every second, we would say it has a frequency of 10 Hz. This measurement helps us understand how often something happens over time, and is used in many different science and engineering applications.
