War Is a Racket

Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes big people fight over things? Well, sometimes countries do that too, and they call it war.

But sometimes, some people start wars not because they need to protect their country, but because they want to make money. They trick people into thinking they need to fight, but really they just want a lot of money.

You know how sometimes when you play with your friends, they try to trick you into giving them your toys? It's kind of like that, but with grown-ups and countries.

This is called a "racket." It's like a trick or a scam that someone does to get what they want. And when someone starts a war just to make money, people call that a war racket.
