Zero energy building

A zero energy building is a type of building where the amount of energy it uses is equal to the amount of energy it produces on its own. This means that the building produces all of the energy it needs to run by itself. To make this happen, the building needs to have things like solar panels, wind turbines, geothermal energy sources and other forms of clean energy technology. These systems help the building create its own electricity, and the extra energy that is created is sent to the power grid to be used by other buildings and homes. Having a zero energy building is great because it helps make our cities more sustainable and uses renewable sources of energy that don't harm the environment.
