ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Acts 13

Acts 13 is part of a book called the Bible. It tells the story of a man named Paul and his friends who traveled long distances to teach people about Jesus. In this chapter, Paul and his friend Barnabas go to a place called Antioch and talk to people in a big building called a synagogue. They explain the story of Jesus and how he died and came back to life.

The people who heard their message were very interested and asked Paul and Barnabas to come back and tell them more. This made some other people who didn't like what Paul and Barnabas were saying very upset. They might have gotten upset because they thought Paul and Barnabas were saying things that went against what they believed.

But Paul and Barnabas continued traveling and telling people about Jesus. They met with lots of different people and even found some who wanted to follow Jesus like they did. They explained how important it was to love one another and forgive each other, just like Jesus did.

Even though some people didn't like what they were saying, Paul and Barnabas never stopped telling the story of Jesus and the good news he brought. They wanted everyone to know how much God loves them and how following Jesus can make their lives better.
