ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Anticolonialism

Anticolonialism is about recognizing that people from different countries and cultures have the right to make their own decisions, and not be controlled by others. It means standing up against the power of countries and people who try to take away the rights, land, and resources of other countries. It’s like if someone was trying to tell you or your family what to do, but you said “no, I don’t want to do that.” Anticolonialism stands up to those who try to take away the decisions of other people.
