Archaeological section

Archaeology is when people dig up really old stuff to learn about how people used to live a long time ago. It's like being a detective but for old things!

An archaeological section is a part of the ground that has been dug up. Imagine you're digging in your backyard and you find a cool rock. An archaeological section is like a bigger version of that. An archaeologist will use special tools to carefully dig up an area of ground, to find and study things people left behind a long time ago.

They might find things like tools, bones, pottery, and sometimes even entire buildings! These things can tell us a lot about how people lived, what they ate, and what kind of tools they used.

But they have to be really careful not to damage anything they find, and they have to make sure they record everything they find, so they can learn as much as possible about the past.

So, an archaeological section is an important part of archaeology because it helps archaeologists discover more about people who lived a long time ago!
