The Cascade Effect is like a game of dominoes. When one domino falls, it knocks over the next one, and the next domino knocks over the one after it. The same thing happens in nature. A cascade effect is when one thing causes a series of events and each event causes the next thing to happen. For example, if there's a drought in an area, not enough rain for plants to survive, the plants will die. This means that the animals that ate the plants won't have anything to eat, so they will be in danger and start to die off too. Eventually, other animals that ate those animals also start to die and the cascade effect continues.
