Colourism

Imagine you're looking at a bunch of different balls. Some balls are red, some are blue, and some are green. But some people say that a red ball is better than a blue ball, just because it's red.

That's kind of like what colourism is. It's when people think that one skin colour is better than another skin colour, even though it's just a natural thing we're born with.

So, some people might think that having lighter skin is better than having darker skin. Or they might think that someone with lighter skin is more beautiful or smarter than someone with darker skin.

But just like how all the different coloured balls are equally good, different skin colours are also equally good. It's important to remember that all people are special and beautiful, no matter what skin colour they have.
