Common sense

Common sense is the ability to understand and use everyday knowledge and ideas to make decisions, solve problems, and understand the world around us. It's the ability to think about a situation and know what is the best and smartest thing to do. For example, if you were at the beach and you saw a big wave, you would use common sense to know that it was a good idea to step away and not try to swim in it.
