Computational intelligence (also known as artificial intelligence) is a type of technology that helps machines, like computers, to think and act like people. Computers are built with special directions (called algorithms) that tell it how to work. With computational intelligence, the computer can learn to solve problems on its own without being given specific directions. Computers use mathematical equations and statistics to figure out how to accomplish a certain task. For example, if you are playing a game, the computer can use computational intelligence to come up with strategies to beat you.
