ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Consensus democracy

Consensus democracy is a way of making decisions together without having to fight or argue. Instead of voting on an issue, like in regular democracy, everyone talks about the issue and tries to find a solution that everyone can agree on. It means that everyone involved in the decision has to take other people's opinions into consideration and try to come up with an answer that works for everyone. It takes longer, but it helps people make better decisions because everyone works together.
