Consociationalism

Consociationalism is a way to keep a country together when different groups in the country disagree with each other. It means that all the different groups get to have a say in how the country is run, and no one group is given more power than the other. The government is set up so that all the different groups can come together and find common ground, where everyone is happy with the outcome. This way, the country is kept together and everyone feels like they have a place and voice in their country.
