ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Drumlin

A drumlin is like a big hill that is shaped like a football. Sometimes there are lots of them all next to each other, like a giant playground for hills! These hills are made up of rocks, gravel, and dirt that were pushed and shoved by a big glacier a long, long time ago. The glacier moved all that stuff around and made it into these special hills. When the glacier melted away, it left the drumlins behind. Some drumlins are really small, and some are really big - like as big as a house! You might see drumlins in places where there used to be a lot of ice, like in Canada or in the northern parts of the United States. So if you ever go for a hike and see a big hill with a pointy end and a flat end, that could be a drumlin!
