ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Energy industry

The energy industry is like a factory that makes electricity. It takes natural resources such as coal, wind, water, and sun, and uses them to create electricity. At the factory, machines turn the natural resources into electricity, which is then sent through a network of wires and pipes to homes, businesses, and other places. This electricity helps people to turn on their lights, use their TVs and computers, and do many other things.
