ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Fertile eunuch syndrome

Okay kiddo, let me explain something called the fertile eunuch syndrome to you. So you know how some people are born as boys and some as girls, right? Well, sometimes there are boys who are born without the ability to produce any baby-making stuff called sperm.

However, with the fertile eunuch syndrome, these boys still have the ability to develop and produce the male hormone called testosterone. Testosterone is what helps a boy's body become taller, stronger, and helps them grow a beard when they get older.

But, here's the interesting part - even though these boys can't produce sperm, they still have the ability to have erections and they can also have sex! Sometimes, even though they don't have sperm, their bodies can still produce a bit of liquid that comes out during sex.

So, in short, the fertile eunuch syndrome means that someone is born without the ability to make sperm, but they can still produce the male hormone testosterone and can have sex.
