Freight transport

Freight transport is when things are moved from one place to another using big vehicles, like trucks and trains. This happens when people need to send things from one place to another, like when companies need to send products to stores so that people can buy them.

When people need to send things, they put them in big containers called cargo containers. These containers can hold a lot of stuff, like toys or clothes or food. Then, the containers get loaded onto big trucks or trains, which can carry lots of containers at once.

The trucks and trains then drive or ride along tracks to the place where the stuff needs to go. Sometimes, the stuff needs to go across the ocean, so it gets put on big ships that can carry lots of containers. The ships then sail across the ocean to the place where the stuff needs to go.

When the trucks, trains, or ships get to the right place, the containers are taken off and the stuff inside is sent to the people who need it. This way, things can get from one place to another safely and quickly, so that people get what they need in a timely manner.
