Instrumentation in petrochemical industries

Instrumentation in petrochemical industries is like having a bunch of sensors that measure different things about the environment and tell you how it is changing. For example, it might measure the temperature, pressure, and flow of gases and liquids in pipes. All of these measurements help you keep track of how the process is working, so if something changes you can figure out what's going on and fix it before it causes any problems.
