Job is what grown-ups do to earn money, just like how you do your chores at home to earn pocket money. Some grown-ups have jobs where they work in offices or stores while others have jobs where they work outside like construction workers or gardeners. Jobs are important because they help people earn money to buy things they need like food, clothes, and toys. When people have jobs, they also learn new skills and meet new people. It can be hard to get a job sometimes, but that's why grown-ups go to school to learn and get better at things so they can get a good job in the future.
