Kolompeh

Alright kiddo, let me explain to you what kolompeh is.

Kolompeh is a type of pastry that comes from Iran, which is a country in the Middle East. It's a sweet treat that's made from flour, sugar, vegetable oil, and sometimes spices like cardamom (which is a very yummy flavor).

To make kolompeh, the first step is to mix all the ingredients together in a big bowl until you get a dough. Then, you roll out the dough and cut it into circles.

Next, you put a sweet filling in the center of each circle. The filling is usually made from chopped dates that have been cooked with butter and sugar.

After that, you fold up the sides of the circle to create a little pastry pocket that's filled with the sweet date mixture. Then, you bake the kolompeh in the oven until they turn golden brown and crispy.

When they come out of the oven, kolompeh are really tasty and sweet. They're perfect for eating as a snack or dessert with a cup of tea or coffee. And that's all there is to it, kiddo!
