Legal reform

Legal reform basically means making changes to the way that laws and the justice system works, so that it can work better for everyone. People might want to change the laws or how they are enforced (or not enforced) because they think they are unfair, outdated, or just not doing a good job of getting justice for people who need it. To make those changes, people have to work together by discussing ideas, making proposals, getting people to vote on them, and then putting them into action. Think of it like giving the rules of a game a makeover so that everyone can have a fairer chance at winning.
