Lever

Lever is like a see-saw. It is an object that has a long bar that is balanced in the middle so that one side is heavier than the other. You can put something heavy on one side, and something light on the other side. Then, when you push down on the light side, the heavy side comes up! That gives you the power to do things like lift heavy objects or move things into place.
