Milanesa

So, have you ever had chicken nuggets or chicken fingers before? Milanesa is kind of like that, but in a bigger piece and made with different meats. It's really popular in some countries like Argentina and Mexico!

So first, you take a piece of meat, like chicken or beef. You then smash it with a hammer, but don't worry, it's a special kind of hammer called a mallet. This makes the meat nice and thin.

Then, you coat the meat in flour, then dip it in beaten egg, and then cover it in breadcrumbs. This is called breading, and it helps the meat get crispy when you cook it.

Finally, you fry the meat in a bit of oil until it's golden brown and crispy on the outside, and juicy and tender on the inside. And voila! You have a delicious milanesa. You can eat it plain, or put it in a sandwich, or even on top of a salad. It's delicious and a fun way to eat meat.
