Naturalism (philosophy)

Naturalism is a type of philosophy which is based on looking at the world in a scientific way. In naturalism, people believe that the natural world is all that exists - that everything in the universe can be explained through science and nature, and that things like gods, spirits, and other supernatural things don't actually exist. Naturalists also believe that the laws of nature never change - that everything works in the same way all of the time. They observe natural phenomena, ask questions about them, and try to explain them through the use of scientific theories and facts.
