Newton (unit)

Okay, let's say you are playing with your toy car and it is not moving. You push it really hard and it starts moving. The force you used to make the car move is called 'Newton' after a famous scientist named Sir Isaac Newton.

Newton is a unit to measure how strong a force is. It tells you how hard you need to push or pull something to make it move. The bigger the force, the more newtons you need.

For example, Imagine you have a heavy book and you want to lift it off the ground. The force you need to use to lift it is measured in newtons. If the book is really heavy, you might need to use a lot of newtons to lift it. But if the book is light, you might only need a few newtons.

So basically, newton is a unit of measurement that tells you how much force you need to move an object.
