Nineteen Eighty-Four

Nineteen Eighty-Four is a book written by George Orwell in 1949. It's a book about the future, where the world is run by an evil government that controls everything that people do and think. The government spies on everyone and keeps them from thinking or doing things that are not approved of. People are not allowed to talk freely or express their own ideas, and Big Brother, an all-seeing eye, watches over everyone. The main character of the book is Winston Smith, a man who fights against the oppressive government and tries to keep his own thoughts and beliefs alive. Even though he is constantly under threat, Winston keeps fighting for his freedom. In the end, he is defeated and forced to give up his beliefs and accept the government's control.
