Non-food crop

Non-food crops are plants that are grown for things other than food. For example, cotton is a non-food crop that is grown to make clothing and rope. Other examples of non-food crops include rubber trees, hemp, sugar cane and corn, which are grown to make paper, oils, sugar and fuel. Some non-food crops are also grown to look nice, such as flowers and ornamental plants.
