The open music model is a way of sharing music that gives people who create music the chance to earn money for their work and also lets other people listen to music for free. It works by giving people who create music and compose songs (like artists and composers) the chance to share their work with lots of people. In return, people get to listen to the music for free, like streaming it from a website, but those who created the music get paid each time someone listens. That way, musicians get the recognition and money they deserve for their hard work and listeners get to enjoy their music for free.
