Parcel post

Parcel post, also known as parcel delivery, is when you want to send something to someone who is far away from you or lives in a different city or country, and it's too big or heavy to fit in an envelope or a letter.

For example, if you want to send a toy or a book to your cousin who lives in another state, you can't just put it in an envelope and send it through the mail. This is where parcel post comes in handy.

To send a parcel, you have to go to a post office, choose the size of the box or envelope that you want to use, and pay for the postage. The post office will take your parcel, put a label with the receiver's address on it, and then send it through the mail to the destination.

Once the parcel arrives at the receiver's post office, they will get a notification that they have a package waiting for them. They can then go to the post office and collect their package.

Parcel post is a convenient way to send things to people who are far away from you, and it's also a safe and secure way to transport your package. It's important to make sure that you have the correct address and postage before sending your parcel, to ensure that it will reach its destination.
