Pedestrian

A pedestrian is someone who is walking around outside, like you when you walk to school or run around the playground. It can also include people who use mobility aids, like wheelchairs, and skateboards or even scooters. When people are driving cars, buses or bikes, they have to be careful not to hit pedestrians, because pedestrians can't always move as fast as cars and may need to cross the road. So, when you're walking around outside, make sure you stay on the sidewalk or cross the road only where it is safe to do so.
