Peer-to-peer energy trading is a way to buy and sell electricity directly between people, without going through a big company. Imagine you have solar panels on your roof. You generate extra electricity that you don't need, so you offer it for sale to your neighbors. Your neighbor pays you for the extra electricity, and you are happy! This is peer-to-peer energy trading.
